Welcome to Afghan Relief’s Water Program
For decades, climate change has increased the severity of droughts and floods all across Afghanistan. An increasing number of families are having difficulty accessing water. Now, children get sick and die from contaminated water or have stunted growth and other complications from malnutrition. Young girls often spend half the day fetching water and unable to go to school.

Our Projects
Tube-Wells
Afghan Relief is digging tube-wells and providing access to clean drinking water in remote and often rural villages all across Afghanistan.
Solar-Run Water Systems
Afghan Relief has provided a number of solar-run water systems for villages that live in hard to reach terrain.
Water-Storage Tanks
Afghan Relief is providing water storage tanks for communities to ease the burden and make clean drinking water easily accessible for the entire community.
